Merchandiser – Nespresso
Location: Victoria, BC 
Schedule: 20 hours/week, Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 
Salary: $22/hour + mileage allowance

Match Retail is currently looking for a Merchandiser for our client, Nespresso. Working closely with the Nespresso team, the Merchandiser will ensure that displays are stocked, cleaned, organized, and accessible in order to enhance the customer shopping experience across various retail locations.

This is a part-time contract position with the possibility of extension. 

What you will be doing:

• Visit stores daily according to your time and territory plan
• Ensure shelf presence of all SKU’s listed by point of sale (POS)
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan 
• Ensures negotiated footprint is respected
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks
• Conduct in-store training on promotions and new product launches to sales associates
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Collect daily data on POS, distribution, competition, in-store activities in NTT (system application)
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.

 What we are looking for: 

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car required
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster lasting relationships and convey brand messages.
• Good problem solving and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly
• Ability to self-manage remotely
• Detailed knowledge with Window Environment (Excel, Word, PP)
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out daily reports
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs)
• Must be willing to travel all stores within their territory
