About the Role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self‑driven B2B Sales Representative to grow our presence across the Greater Toronto Area. This is a true business‑development role — ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. You will be responsible for creating your own pipeline, building and managing a CRM from scratch, conducting in‑person sales visits, delivering product demonstrations, and converting prospects into long‑term customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify, target, and qualify new B2B prospects across the GTA
- Build your own lead pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and field activity
- Research target accounts and decision‑makers to support a consultative sales approach
- Maintain an active presence in the field, including customer visits and local market activity
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Build, manage, and maintain a CRM with accurate prospect, account, and pipeline data
- Track all sales activity, follow‑ups, forecasts, and outcomes
- Use CRM insights to manage territory performance and prioritize opportunities
Sales Visits & Product Demonstrations
- Conduct in‑person and virtual sales meetings with prospective clients
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to customer needs and pain points
- Present proposals, pricing, and solutions clearly and confidently
- Handle objections and negotiate terms to close new business
Account Acquisition & Growth
- Close new B2B customers and transition accounts effectively into onboarding
- Develop strong client relationships to support retention and future upsell opportunities
- Gather market and customer feedback to inform product and sales strategy
Reporting & Collaboration
- Provide regular updates on pipeline health, wins, losses, and market insights
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, leadership) to support growth
- Represent the company professionally in the market at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 2–5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account acquisition
- Proven ability to prospect, hunt, and close new business independently
- Experience building and managing a CRM and personal sales pipeline
- Comfortable with cold outreach, in‑person sales visits, and field‑based selling
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the GTA
Preferred
- Experience selling tangible products, services, or solutions in a competitive B2B environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, etc.)
- Background in territory or field sales
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of accountability
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Consistently building and converting a healthy pipeline of qualified leads
- Strong field presence with regular customer visits and demonstrations
- Accurate and disciplined CRM usage
- Meeting or exceeding new‑business revenue targets
